Commercial meeting slide deck development

The challenge  

 Our client a Business Unit Manager in the Gulf region, came to us asking for support for an upcoming 2-day commercial meeting. He was struggling to align with reviewers internally on content approval and how to keep the more controversial topics HCPs wanted to discuss on the agenda. He needed support to work with the speakers to develop engaging yet compliant presentations.

 

The solution

Firstly, we arranged a call to align on the agenda and discuss the key communication objectives for each presentation, we then mapped out the key stakeholders and timelines and aligned on a short briefing for all speakers. After receiving the initial drafts of their slide decks, we did detailed scientific and editorial reviews, checking the alignment of the presentations with the objectives and working with the speakers to revise the decks to ensure the content was engaging, clear, editorially correct and approvable by all stakeholders. We then referenced the materials and defined the key terminology, making sure the final slides were polished and copyright cleared.

The reviewers provided feedback and out of 10 slide decks, only 3 came back with minor suggestions for edits.

 

The outcome

The team were extremely grateful for our support and thanked us for helping to make sure the content was engaging and provocative but still approvable. The slides were approved after the first review round with no feedback from the speakers on the changes we made and the event was a huge success with hundreds of HCPs joining in person in Dubai. Attendees rated the presentations very highly in their post-event feedback!
